Ready-to-lead package trips
Thrivent Builds Worldwide "prepackaged," ready-to-lead trips make it as easy as possible to plan and lead a trip. We take care of the details, like hotel accommodations and ground transportation. And, we've made team leader training as easy as possible with two online training sessions. You focus on what's really important—recruiting and guiding participants—and working with partner families to build simple, decent, affordable homes.

What is included
Your trip cost, based on a team of 10-13 volunteers, with 50% Thrivent Financial members, is all inclusive, including:
- As a benefit of membership, all Thrivent Financial for Lutherans benefit members* receive a $280 discount on trip costs. It's the power of your membership in action!
- A $10,000 donation from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans to the Habitat host program.
- Waived required donations from trip participants to Habitat for Humanity – a $500 value!
- Full coverage of trip costs for team leaders, including airfare up to the average flight cost for that area of the world.
- Tips/gratuities and travel from and to the airport in-country.
- Accommodations at a clean, comfortable local hotel (double occupancy) or volunteer dormitory for US options.
- Daily shuttle service to the job site**.
- Three meals a day.
- Purified water on the build site.
- Tours and taste of the town dinners.
- Organized and supervised build sites.
- All tools and building materials provided on site.
- In-country support from your local Habitat for Humanity host.
- Traveler's medical and trip cancellation insurance for international locations.
- 1-2 days of free time for cultural activities (sites, tours, hotels, etc.).
What is not included
- Airfare, except for team leaders
- Souvenirs
- Alcohol
- International entry and exit fees (if applicable)
- Phone bills and extra hotel charges (laundry, massage, etc.)
- Up front cash needed to cover any medical expenses (medical insurance is included in trip price and expenses will be reimbursed at later date if cash is needed for treatment)
- More than one team shuttle to/from airport (if team members have booked significantly different flight times)

- Nonmembers: $2,029 plus airfare
- Trip Duration: Nine days.
- Cultural activities: Enjoy a guided tour of Budapest and an excursion
to Hortobagy which includes a boat trip.
Location: Macedonia
Enjoy unparalleled beauty and Biblical history in Macedonia.

- Members: $1,640 plus airfare.
- Nonmembers: $1,920 plus airfare.
- Trip Duration: Nine days.
- Cultural activities: Enjoy a guided tour of Skopje, including a visit to
the Ethno Museum. Experience a cave and boat trip to view some breathtakingly
beautiful scenery.
Location: Poland
Historic Warsaw is calling you to help its families reach economic independence.

visit Chopin's birthplace.

- Cultural activities: Visit Turda's Gorge and salt mines and take a trip to
Bucovina, a medieval monastery.
Location: New Mexico
Seated on the high-desert mesa at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Taos is rich with Native American and Hispanic historic culture and art.

- Members: $990 plus airfare
- Nonmembers: $1,270 plus airfare
- Trip Duration: Eight days.
- Cultural activities: Visit the Taos Pueblo, an ancient American Indian community continuously inhabited for 1000 years. Take a historic trolley tour. There are numerous art galleries and museums. Or visit nearby Bandelier National Monument, learn about the culture of the Ancestral Pueblo people and explore amazing hiking trails through Frijoles Canyon and across picturesque mesas.
Location: South Dakota
Native America invites you to come and build on the Cheyenne River Sioux Indian Reservation in Eagle Butte, South Dakota.

- Nonmembers: $1,205 plus airfare
- Trip Duration: Eight days
- Cultural activities: Tour such Historic Landmarks as Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse Mountain, Needles Highway and The Badlands.
Location: West Virginia
Experience Appalachia which is also known as the “poverty pocket of America”. Learn its culture and history.

- Members: $475 plus airfare
- Nonmembers: $755 plus airfare
- Trip Duration: Seven days
- Cultural activities: Mid-week enjoy a guided hike up Seneca Rocks in the Monongahela National Forest, a visit through an underground cavern, and a trip to Spruce Knob which is the highest elevation in West Virginia. Additional activities include self-guided driving tours of the historic scenic byways and live folk music.

details so you can take the lead in helping others.
Your enthusiasm and personal leadership skills can be the catalyst to help your
congregation, Lutheran group or local chapter of Thrivent Financial experience a lifechanging

* As a benefit of membership, all Thrivent Financial for Lutherans benefit members are eligible for
the discounted trip cost. You are considered a Thrivent Financial benefit member if you are age
18 or older and own Thrivent Financial insurance or annuities. You also qualify if you have a
Thrivent Mutual Fund account or an insurance or annuity contract issued by Thrivent Life Insurance
Company.
** This benefit excluded for West Virginia trips as teams will rent their own ground transportation.
